It's amazing what a team can do when they play for each other rather than individuals!

Well the Roosters finally did it. Won well, with everyone coming together for this game. Passing went to feet and shots went into the goal. A one off? Find out next week.

Ben got man ot the match with his six goals! Yes six goals, don't normally score that in a match collectively!

Top team get revenge on Roosters!

A first half the Roosters could not get into. Horsford just didn't give the ball away, a class above....way above the Roosters! Christain scoring the Roosters first half goal.

Half time score 4-1

Second half was a bit different with both teams keeping the Keepers warm on a cold wet night. Milky scoring his first goal for some time. Second half honors even 1-1

Remember boy's we are a team, so pass the ball to the player in space. It is a team game with six players!!!!!!!

Roosters crow is silenced

These 2 teams were relegated last season and should be in the favourites to bounce straight back. This was a meeting of old adversaries.

With probably the oldest average age in the league you would have thought the Roosters would know that peaking too early is not big, or clever.

With a full squad available the Roosters put their strongest 6 on to start and within roughly 15 minutes had established a 4-1 lead. Goals from Christian, John and Dave giving the old birds something to crow about. The keeper Pete had only touched the ball once, to pick it out of the net!

But the Roosters grip over the snakes then rapidly slipped! Had they counted their chickens too early? By half time the score was 4-3, the Roosters left wondering what was going wrong.

The second half went just as badly. Despite some good pressure on the Cobras goal the Roosters could not find the net. Quick goals on the counter-attack by the Cobras put the game to rest.

A Game of Two Halves!

Again the Rooster\'s started poorly, conceding three goals in the first 10 minutes with Christian getting a goal back after the restart. Roosters then conceded two more goals, before AGAIN Christian deciding to do it all on his own, peppering the goal from every angle, scoring two more goals, one which was a sneaky free kick just outside the box.

Roosters where down 5-3 but came out a different team, passing the ball well. This time Matt bring us level at 5-5. Hockering then took the lead with Christian giving the ball away just outside the box. Matt then scored two goal with 10 minutes to go putting the Roosters a goal up, with stu just scrapping the post late in the game. But soon after Hockering broke clear to give the keeper no chance to level!

Man of the Match would go to Christian, even though he did give a goal away!!!

A Good Team Proformance by the Roosters

The Roosters keeper started poorly letting in 2 VERY soft goals! But then the Roosters started to play some good football scoring to equalize. Goals coming from Jon White and Dave. The third goal coming from Christian, when the Ref confussed Crazy 88 as he kicked another match ball away!!!!!!

Second half was very tight, the only goal coming from Christian.

Dan got Man of the Match..........for the simple reason we have never seen him run so much, with Colin coming a close second for his bench warming!

Can we keep it up???????????????

Five minute spell in second half cost us the game!

Fairly even first half at 3-3 played at a high tempo. With Roosters goals coming for Milky, Colin and Christian.

Second half was completely different when all the Roosters players went to sleep, conceding 4 goals in a matter of minutes!

Roosters managed 2 goals late on with some quick passing. One goal took only four touches, from keeper to Christian passed down the line to Stu who hit a first time ball across the goal for Milky to slot home..........That was about it for second half football from the Roosters!

Man of the Match would have to go to Stu for a fantastic first time ball!!!!!!!!

Well The Rooster's just did not turn up Monday night..........

No man of the match this week, but No Nonsence Goal Keeper had a brilliant game, stopping every directed DIRECTLY at him.

We can do better!!!

Winning Run Ended

A poor first half conceding three goals gave the Roosters to much to do in the second half. But a better display did give the Roosters a 2-1 second half score line. Man of the match Christian scoring two second half goals and hitting the wood work three times.

Really good match. Felt sorry for the other team as only had 5 but good players and definitely in the right league will beat most teams in this league.
